Do I have to use your maintenance plan if you built my site?
No — it's optional. But most clients stay on maintenance because it's cheaper than paying per-edit and rolls hosting, backups, and security into one predictable bill.
What counts as a 'monthly content edit'?
Text changes, image swaps, adding a new team member, updating hours, publishing a blog post you wrote, or a small design tweak. Bigger changes — a whole new page or a redesign — are quoted separately.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We restore from the most recent clean backup (usually within a few hours), investigate the entry point, patch it, and add hardening — all included in your plan, no emergency invoice.
Do you maintain sites you didn't build?
Sometimes. We audit the site first — if it's on a platform we can support cleanly (modern React/Next stack, WordPress with common plugins, Webflow), yes. If it's a mess of custom code with no docs, we'll usually recommend rebuilding.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Maintenance is month-to-month. If you cancel, we hand over hosting-ready files or help you migrate to another provider — no ransom.
