Privacy Policy

1. What personal information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through our contact forms or our website chatbot. We do not require you to create an account and we do not buy personal data from third parties.

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• City
• Business name (only if you choose to include it)
• The message or project details you send us

2. Why we collect it

• To respond to your inquiry
• To prepare and send you a quote or proposal
• To deliver the services you engage us for (web design, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, social media management, website maintenance and hosting)

3. How we store it

Inquiries are stored in our secure hosted database (Supabase) and in our business email inbox. Access is restricted to authorized Cloud Peak Solutions staff who need the information to respond to you or deliver your service.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and deliver any services you engage us for, and afterwards as ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see section 7).

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We use a small number of service providers to operate the site:

• Resend — delivers the email notification that carries your inquiry to our inbox
• Supabase — hosts the database where inquiries are stored
• Google Analytics — provides anonymous, aggregated site usage statistics, and only runs if you accept analytics cookies

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies for analytics purposes through Google Analytics, plus essential session cookies required for the contact form to work. Analytics cookies only load after you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can decline without affecting how the site works. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

We do not send form field values, email addresses or phone numbers to Google Analytics.

7. Your rights under PIPEDA (Canada)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations
• Withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time

8. Your rights as a California resident (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. Cloud Peak Solutions does not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9. How to exercise your rights

Send us a request through the contact form at cloudpeak.solutions/contact with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or call us at +1 (604) 445-9431. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
